Mátria — A Flower Park that Celebrates Life

Mátria, located in São Francisco de Paula, Rio Grande do Sul, is one of the most significant projects in the history of Alencar Possible Futures. This flower park is a tribute to nature, to the earth and to life, representing a rare privilege for an architect: to design a space entirely dedicated to contemplation and connection with the natural world.

Developed in collaboration with renowned landscape architect Juliana Castro, from JA8, and in partnership with the family that owns the land, the project is the result of collective work imbued with dedication, joy and sensitivity. Each path, each garden and each element has been designed to create a space that invites visitors to connect with plants, living beings, and countless forms of vegetation. Mátria is a place for meeting, walking and contemplation, designed to provide moments of tranquility and reflection.

More than a park, Mátria restored pride and sense of belonging to the local community. It became a landmark, demonstrating how architecture and landscaping can go beyond conventional tourism, exploring new possibilities for interacting with nature. The project celebrates creativity, competence, and talent, proposing a model of public space that respects and values life in all its forms.

Filled with poetry, care and love in every stroke and every plant, Mátria is an example of how architecture can become a true celebration of life. This park represents the fulfillment of a dream: a space that combines beauty, purpose and a deep respect for the environment, inspired by the desire to create a future where harmony between humanity and nature is a reality.
