Egon Belz — A Tribute to the Connection Between Architecture and Public Life

The Egon Belz project, located in Blumenau next to Ramiro Ruediger Park, is a celebration of the trajectory and legacy of the architect and sportsman that gives the building its name. Egon Belz was an outstanding figure in the city's cultural and sporting scene, with a strong connection to public spaces, leisure and culture. As an alumnus of Belz, architect Nicholas Alencar pays homage to the influence and impact of his mentor through this project.

The multipurpose building was designed with a porous and open ground floor, promoting coexistence and encounter. Public areas such as restaurants, bakeries, and outdoor spaces were integrated into the project, creating a natural interaction with the adjacent park. On the upper floors, offices and apartments have been carefully planned to offer functionality and comfort, while the penthouse, with swimming pool, leisure areas and party spaces, favors a breathtaking view of the city and the park.

This project reflects Alencar's main architectural aims, such as the democratization of spaces and the creation of environments that promote encounters and connections. Egon Belz is more than a building; it is a landmark that reflects the commitment to Blumenau's cultural legacy and to the future of the city.
