TEDx Blumenau and Alencar Possible Futures: A Connection to the Future
At Alencar Possible Futures, we believe that architecture is one of the most powerful ways to express our visions for the future. However, we also understand that our actions must go beyond the lines of projects and building designs. Just as we did with the Nossa Casa Shelter project, with the interiors that transform homes and with initiatives that redefine urban spaces, we recognize that the architect has a unique vision that can contribute to various aspects of the community. For this reason, we are deeply proud of our involvement with TEDx Blumenau, one of the largest and most relevant cultural events in the city.
TEDx Blumenau is recognized worldwide as a reference among TEDx events. It brings up transformative themes and inspiring speeches that challenge thinking and promote significant change. For us, at Alencar, supporting and participating in an event like this is a reflection of what we believe: the need for dialogue, exchange and inspiration to create a better future. TEDx Blumenau is more than an event; it's a cultural movement that resignifies what is relevant and urgent in society.
In this last TEDx Blumenau, we had the opportunity to go beyond institutional support and created, in partnership with Oficina 3D, an immersive installation that combined technology, design and sensations. The space, designed as an immersion room in the future, provided visitors with a unique sensory experience. Our intention was to explore feelings, create emotional connections, and invite the public to reflect on the infinite possibilities that the future may offer. This type of intervention is deeply aligned with our DNA as an office, which constantly seeks to transcend the obvious and explore new forms of impact.
Our involvement with TEDx Blumenau is a clear example of how we seek to overcome the limits of traditional architecture and actively participate in the city's cultural movements. More than that, each collaboration, each interaction with an event like TEDx, enriches our understanding of the world around us. We meet new people, explore new ideas, and come into contact with realities that challenge our own certainties. This not only transforms our architectural practice, but also redefines our role as agents of change in society.
The connection with TEDx Blumenau reminds us of the importance of being in constant motion, learning, contributing, and evolving. It is through these interactions that we shape who we are as professionals, as citizens, and as visionaries committed to the future. After all, designing the future isn't just about buildings, but about how we build the links between people, ideas, and possibilities.
